Beware & cautious as you schedule appointments with Rancho Family Medical Group in Menifee. I called to scheduled a physical for my husband. My husband dropped off all New patient forms 48 hrs. Before his appointment. He arrives to his appointment and they ask for $150 right off the bat. We were never told to be prepared to make a payment of $150. This took place in October & I’m now just receiving a bill for office visit. Rancho Medical billed my insurance $734.62 for a flu shot and what they call an established care visit. My husband was never given a appointment for physical as we thought. During his visit the the Dr. did noting for him except get his history. How can they bill my insurance $734 for a visit to establish service? I think this office should have told us we will be charging your insurance company over $600 to set you up as a new patient. How disappointing to think a group of professionals are taking advantage of their clients & the insurance companies. I’m upset with this behavior! Beware & careful because if your insurance does not pay the entire bill you will! With all the Dr. visit’s my husband and I’ve had in the past we’ve never run into this behavior with any private or medical group. This is not norm!!!

Very impressed with Rancho Family Medical’s implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination. I received mine today at their Sun City location. The physical set-up was well thought out. Staff were very courteous and professional. Amber Holden, PA gives a good injection. All in all, it was a slick operation!!! Thank you!

Let me start with Dr. Gutierrez...I love this Doc! He always makes me feel welcome and is extremely easy to talk with. He takes the time to listen and be attentive to his patients concerns while being thorough in explaining and following up with any treatment protocols. I'm blessed to have been referred to him by Dr. Madrid, another truly wonderful doctor. You have a dream team here with these guys, no need to look elsewhere for a primary care! Last but not least I must give kudos to the staff...talk about being on top of your game, they deliver every time. Erika and Gladys...thank you for always being so helpful and going above and beyond. Your kindness and knowledge with which you do your job is an inspiration to me how compassion and competence can still co-exist in today's work place!😀👍👏
