An unexpected, very necessary, and beautiful surprise! Walked into this book store, located in the Fox Hills Mall, and was met with book covers from authors who look like Me amd were writing about children and adults who look like Me! Great selection of subjects, authors and age range. I purchased WAY more than intended. No regrets!! Will be back!!

I purchased a few books from Malik Books online and it was a great experience! They had a great selection of books and they kept me informed of the status of my order, which had to be completed in parts since at least one of the books was a pre-order. I'll definitely order from them again and I'd love to visit them in person once the pandemic is under control!

Love this shop. Called and spoke to someone who answered all of my questions and were super helpful and friendly. Ordered online, received books in a timely manner. They never spam my email with too many emails. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing bookstore.

I received a gift card from work for Malik Books and was so excited to order Stacey Abrams' books online. I ran into a bit of difficulty (my order total with shipping went a little over the gift card amount), but was able to call in and speak with April, who was so friendly and helped me place my order online using a combination of the gift card and credit card payment. Although I live in San Jose, CA, I hope to be able to visit Malik Books in person the next time I'm in LA, because they have a great selection of books and awesome service! Thank you again, April!

There is only one person working there at a time. Masks are required and there is hand sanitizer at the register. Malik was wearing a mask. The place doesn't get crowded to be concerned.
