One of the many 99 Cent Only stores in Los Angeles County, where they started. Each and everyone is different, and this place is no different. A great place to get certain items, not a great place to get other things. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood, though.

This is a good store, nice variety, the black round windshield blocker, it's definitely one of the better stores in Los Angeles. Nice parking , friendly staff. And clean!!

See othet comment; also there are white wire racks in the store, where they will put sone 2 for $0.99 items and put a round purple stcker on them. Some stores do also mark the vegetables to 1/2 price before they expire.

If you mean romaine lettuce, it's been reported as E. Coli illness outbreak, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
