Its great but every minute a mosquito will come towards you, if you are unlucky they will bite you a few times. I also saw a coyote it was pretty chill it walked away. There are quite a bit of people that use marijuana here so it kinda stinks. The park is pretty clean and has a good amount of trash cans.

I love Lake Merced, is the top 1 place in San Francisco in my opinion if you are looking to live of have a good walking morning, if you go around the lake is almost 5 miles, by bike in a easy rhythm is between 30 to 40 min, walking can be 1:30 hour in a easy speed and enjoying the view, its clean, safety and as well you can cross the lake in the middle of the golf club and have a very good experience

It has a parking space and is conveniently located right next to the road(Lake Merced Blvd). Beautiful walking trails in harmony with nature, such as wild plants, trees, and animals

Yes you can fish at Lake Merced. There are signs posted where it is ok, listing the types of fish, as well as if they can be eaten and how much is safe to eat.

Pretty much you can go anywhere in and around Lake Merced...there is a boating area there...I see people canoeing there all the time
It's a sign of a ton of algae and waste build up. Also the golf course is connected to Lake Merced, and both are not too far down the road from Daly City's waste water treatment facility near the fire station.
Not overnight in the park. But portions of two streets near the park, Lake Merced Blvd and also Winston Dr. do allow overnight RV parking. Check signs for restrictions and street sweeping days.
Yes...on opposite sides of the lake there's a small bridge you can cast off at and if you were to go to the boat house there which is located at 1 harding rd there's platforms or docks u also can fish from...i hope this answers your question
