Nice environment, but this is the noisiest library in America. I wish could call Lori Beth Denberg from All That to come tell everyone (including the staff) to SHUT UP.

Such a clean environment, which inspires great thinking in my estimation. I'm not sure why they up at 12pm M-W. At least during the summer season when school is out, it would be more convenient to open earlier.

I love coming to this library when i need to focus on some work. Around the house it is impossible to focus due to my 3 kids running around the house constantly. The last time i attended this library i had to study for a very important test for work, and the library was packed with children running around and making way to much noise for a library. I love this library i always come here and it is usually always great. This time was just over flowing with kids and i had to leave because i could not focus.

The Newbury Park Branch Library is an excellent smaller branch of the Thousand Oaks Library, serving the community of Newbury Park. The staff here are exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the facilities are clean, well maintained and well organized and their collection is quite good, despite their smaller size. The Newbury Park Library has frequent programs to benefit the community, including storytimes for children, free computer classes, free tax assistance, free movies & popcorn and an excellent summer reading program for all ages. This library also has free WiFi, computers & children s learning computers to use throughout the day. Their on-line resources rival much larger libraries in L.A. County and they have an extensive collection of e-books, e-audio and video. Please note that the Newbury Park Library closes at 8 PM, M-F, not at 10 PM as it states on Google. I highly recommend the Newbury Park Branch for all of your library needs!
