I'm still pretty new here, but so far my experiences have been quite good. My PCP, Dr. Aleksiejuk, comes off as both friendly and competent. I feel like he actually listens to what I'm saying, rather than forming a diagnosis in his mind prematurely and refusing to budge on it. I know that might sound pretty basic, but I've had more doctors than not who have been like this. He's attentive, comfortable to speak with, and seems well informed. I particularly liked that I didn't feel rushed out the door - he was patient, heard my issues, and prepared plans to deal with each of them. He also set up a follow-up appointment in a couple months to make sure everything is running smoothly; can't tell you how many doctors I've seen that really couldn't care less and never mention anything even close to a follow-up! I'd also like to mention that I was due for both an eye and dental exam, and he was kind enough to set up those appointments for me as well, as those are also services that Clinicas provides on the same site. Es muy conveniente! 🧡 The staff have been kind, professional, and pleasant as well. One of the staff members I interacted with was clearly quite new, but she was earnest, polite, and helpful, which more than made up for it. I hope she continues to find success and happiness in both her future and career. The nurse who drew my blood for a panel was also quite amicable and seemed exceptionally on top of it. I feel bad that her name escapes me now... she had the foresight and etiquette to ask me if I had any issues with blood, such as anxiety, nausea, or fainting, which, again, sounds pretty standard but it's... really not. I didn't have any issues, but the fact that she asked beforehand was still appreciated all the same. I understand that some people have bad or off days, or maybe they're just burnt out, truly, but far too often they just want you to sit down, run through the motions, and then have you leave as quickly as possible - as if your mere existence were a terrible burden on them. Some rush you, but most just seem like they'd rather be anywhere else and with anyone else. I'm sure there are maaaaany times they (and every working person for that matter) feel that way, but when working with people - particularly those who are frequently ill or injured - you need a certain level of social grace, finesse, and professionalism. It's easy to forget that the patient is a person - that they may be anxious, not used to a clinical setting, or that whatever reason has them there is weighing on them. It might be their upteenth patient of the day (and it's not even lunchtime yet!), but being able to keep up that energy and level of care is not only important, but quite frankly refreshing as all heck! Anyways, I've gone on long enough. Like I mentioned, I haven't given this place a full trial just yet, but so far so good! I'll adjust my rating/review as and if necessary. Ps. Their Patient Portal, while a bit dated looking and slightly lacking in certain functions, is still very convenient and oh-so-appreciated! It's not UCLA's Portal, of course, but I have seen SOOOO much worse. It functions, and I'm legitimately grateful for that. - - - Pps. Please remember to be kind to healthcare workers! Not just during Covid, but always! Even if you're frustrated, or sick, or tired, or maybe you don't like their attitude - they're still people at the end of the day. Their work (and I do mean everyone there, not just the doctors/nurses) is often thankless, because it's simply what you've come to expect or perhaps it seems like nothing special. And frequently, it's mostly done behind the scenes - you really only see a small fraction of what's going on more often than not. Every healthcare worker is working hard to keep a very busy, delicate, and stressful operation running as smoothly as possible while keeping both the higher ups and you, the patients, appeased. And that's just when they're at work! Phew!

From my experience all the female workers there are extremely helpful and courteous. To be honest exceptional. One less than favorable experience with a male doctor but having said that the only legitimate gripe is how they have to stagger every "procedure " when the reality is most of them can be combined all at one time. But I believe that's out of their hands so they're great!
