Worst experience of my life!! It was cool seeing an all female crew working. But they couldn't even help me change my battery. They said they were under staff, when I see like 5 employees working. The older lady was rude and acting all tough and I don't know why. Mind blowing! Other lady said they don't have to help me if they don't want too. So I left and I can see all of them laughing threw the window. NOT COOL! I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Go to O'Reilly they actually care and help even if there's 1 employee working.

I'd give this place -5 stars if it were possible!! I called in the morning (6/2/22) and spoke to a sales associate, who was very polite and professional, about price matching an instock product that's was being sold by a competitor for $5 less. I was told by the gentleman I spoke to, that all I needed to do was show that the local competitor had the item in stock and was selling it at normal price, which is lower than what the AutoZone sells it for, and I could either bring in a printout from the competitor's website or I could show a sales associate on my phone. So, after work I stop in and grab two of the items, VP Racing 7 in 1 Fuel System Treatment, and make my way to the checkout where I explained to the young lady working behind the counter, I did not get her name, that I had spoken to a gentleman earlier in the day about price matching the very items I was about to purchase. She stated that she knew nothing about the conversation I had with the fellow associate or price matching, so she called her manager over to assist. The manager, a lady with glasses who I did not get her name but have seen everytime I've come into this store, very rudely explained that I needed to prove to her that the competitor, Advanced Auto, had the item in stock and was selling it at a normal price, not on sale or discounted, that was less then AutoZone. I showed the lady that Advanced Auto, located in Vista, had the item in stock and was selling it for $10.99 versus $15.99. Upon showing this info to the lady, the sales manager mind you, I was very rudely told that that was the Advanced Auto online purchase price and that she would not except it, even though it was showing the exact instock in store price. So she continues on by rudely asking for the phone number of the store. As I begin reading it off to here, she rudely interrupts me and states that I need to call them so she can hear them say the price. At this point, I had to constrain my anger and continue to be patient and professional which can be hard to do when you have to deal with someone of this nature. So, I call Advanced Auto and speak to an associate who in turn states the price over my phone loud speaker. I ask, the AutoZone manager, if she heard the gentleman say the price, which she stated that she wanted to hear, she rudely tells me that she is busy, while she's texting on her cellphone. After putting the Advanced Auto sales associate on hold for two minutes, the AutoZone manager states she is now ready. So, I have the gentleman state the price again so that the store manager can hear it. After she hears the price she rudely decides to perform the sale and while doing so states, in her very own words, "I don't like to do price matching because I lose money. You might like it because your getting a deal. But I don't, because I'm losing money." All I can say about this whole experience is "WOW", and that's putting it nicely!! After jumping through hoops for 20+ minutes, that's how long it took to final complete a simple price check, I complete my purchase, frustrated and angry!! Is this how managent is supposed to treats it's customers? Well, AutoZone, after this treatment, I will no longer be a customer and will take my business elsewhere, where people treat their customers with respect!! If you shop here, I'd suggest you take your business elsewhere as well and possibly save yourself the headache of dealing with these people and save yourself some money as well!!
