Absolutely one of the most beautiful views of the S.F. Bay anchored by a rustic/urban statuesquely designed architecture design ! Don't forget to bring your roller skates and pack a bag lunch for magical experience 6of a lifetime.soak in some daysz There is plenty of outdoor lounge seating, light retail/food vending is available on the inside station.

Part of the large redevelopment effort along the Oakland waterfront, the 9th Ave terminal is a delightful place to enjoy a piece of Oakland that shows how great it can be. The residents of the neighboring complex have a good thing going with this renovated terminal building and the spacious open area behind it. Inside the terminal is a small but upscale grocery store with high end and good quality items at surprisingly reasonable prices. Restaurants and other food venues are planned. As summer approaches, this would be an excellent place to watch the sunset, listen to live music and so on. Buy a sandwich and a drink, grab a chair and enjoy a slice of Oakland that breaks the stereotype of a dangerous crime ridden city (which it is, depending on where you are)

Great waterfront public space. Roller skater’s delight on newly paved walkways. Brazilian style partners dancing group using the ample space. There was even taco stand with hip-hop performance mini stage to complete the scene.

Great new space for Oaklanders to come and enjoy the outdoors. In these COVID times there is lots of room to spread out with views of the waterfront, Coastguard Island, Alameda, and beyond. A great historic momento to shipping days gone by.

Parking here is an absolute disaster! With all the housing that is being built in Brooklyn Basin, there is not any thought given to parking. I'd estimate that there is one street parking space for every 100 units of housing. There is even some public parking, but it becomes a tow away zone after 9:00 pm...sorry!
