Don’t go here!! They don’t know what their doing. They misdiagnosed my 13 year old son with a head injury. I asked them to do another CT scan on my second visit in 24 hours because something wasn’t right with him. The doctor looked me in the eye and said no. He’s just fine. Long story short, I brought him to Saint Luke’s and they did emergency surgery for a brain hemorrhage. I hope the worthless doctor reads this review and thinks twice about sending a patient home who’s vomiting after a brain injury. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST! GO TO SAINT LUKES! I will post the name of doctor who refused CT scan when I get my bill.

Over the past few years, I've overall had more good experience at St Al's then negative. When asking the right questions I've received clear answers, staff is friendly. professional, and focused. I've seen one time few years ago when in the ER visiting a guest he too was spoken too positively and clearly while in the ER physical trauma but as soon as they relocated him to another room for an overnight stay he was not well communicated with at all for the rest of his stay. Some staff does however needs to improve on their customer service soft skills.

In March 2022, I had an accident with a Circular Saw in which I was transported to St. Als Boise because it is the only "Trauma Center" in the area. The emergency room staff were great, my surgeon was great, but the problem lies with the OR. I had an open fracture because I nearly cut my fingers off (pinky was hanging on with tissue) but I had to wait for 29 hours to have surgery to fix them. My doctor tried numerous times to get me into the OR but was unable to. My surgery was suppose to be an out patient surgery according to my doctor and it only took 1 hour when we finally got in to the OR. But due to having to wait so long for surgery and being on dilaudid for pain that long, they were unable to get my oxygen level under control so I had to spend a second night in the hospital on oxygen to control it. I was continually told that the reason we had to wait so long to get into surgery was because the hospital was short staffed due to terminating the staff for refusing to be vaccinated for covid. Pretty poor excuse of you asked me. What kind of service is this hospital providing? Obviously none. I would never recommend anyone to go to this establishment. Especially if they want good service. Pretty sad state of affairs.

We're currently on a few day stay in the Maternity Center, with my 7 month old boy who is sick with hMPV. All of the nurses and doctors have been extremely kind and accommodating. The doctors have been wonderful at talking us through everything & explaining any questions we have in great detail. Staying in a hospital with your kid who doesn't feel well is miserable, but the staff truly makes all the difference!

Desiree,yes you can go into seizures if you stop drinking abruptly. Please get your self to a rehab or hospital. My daughter is currently in St Als. She has been drinking for about 20yrs. Whiskey is her choice. She was told 1.5 yrs ago when she was admitted if she didn't stop drinking she had 3yrs. She didn't stop. She has liver failure. She was transferred to University of Utah 2 days after being admitted bc they thought she was going to die. Lifeflighted to Utah. She looks like she has a tan from the jaundice. Her abd is swollen looking like she is 6mos pregnant. She has a feeding tube. She was admitted 4-7-22. Starting her 3rd week of hospital back at St Als. If she stops drinking for 3mos she'll have a liver transplant & she will be on anti-rejection meds for life. She drank her life away. Please get help. Make up your mind that you are going to stop drinking. You can go to inpatient rehab & get detoxed. God bless you 🙏❤
