i’m male-presenting. my wife and i went here to have our gel nails removed from a different (not great) salon, but this place turned out to be very disappointing, too: my nail technician left all ten fingers covered in glue and dust, while my wife had hers pampered with extra fine filing and smoothing, plus some hydrating ointment. if they tried to send a femme person out the door like they did me, they would never come back. neither will i. you don’t treat nails differently based on your perception of someone’s gender, so i’ll find queer-friendly places from now on!

I needed a same day appointment and they were able to easily accommodate me. They were very friendly and warm. My gel manicure was quick but no corners were cut. My nails turned out very neat and clean, which is a huge win.

Making the appointment was very easy and the receptionist was extremely thorough. She made sure I was being matched with the right nail tech, being it was my first visit. Upon arrival, I was taken right away and noticed the place was very clean. Joanne did my nails and really took her time. I showed her a specific design I wanted and she exceeded what I showed her. She matched the design perfectly, BUT also gave it her own little touch. Which was wonderful! You can tell she loves what she does and she is very creative. I can’t wait to go back. I’m always nervous about getting my nails taken care of. I’ve had some horrible experiences. This was such a great place and Joanne made it even more amazing! See the photos for evidence of this.

My gel mani was fantastic, but my standard pedi was just ok (can you see the weird texture at the base of my big toe nails in the pic?). The pedi seats are more comfy than a well established neighbor of theirs, but the shop has a strong polish smell in the air. Super nice staff. Super clean tools & pedi tubs. The attached gift shop has some very unique items by local artists.
