No complaints, I went there with my sister's and dogs. There's a nice walking trail and it's not over crowded. Also if you can find parking, its free!

A small parking area in a residential neighborhood off Fair Oaks boulevard allows you to walk to the river in a minute or two, literally. There's a beautiful stretch of area where you can sit and catch some rays or allow your dog to jump in the river. There are even garbage cans to dispose of your waste. Remember to clean up after your dog please!

They only open the gate for parking in the winter. During the spring and summer they close it. The reason for that is because people abuse it and try and live their in the warmer months which sucks for us who live in Carmichael!!!

'Beach' might be a stretch for some as the shore is mostly a clay bank, but it still makes for a decent surface to hang out. There is a steep but paved ramp from the parking lot to the rivers edge. The most swimmable area is the lagoon off of private property, so if anyone uses it it, please be cool.
Should be same rules as at sailors bar.
