I bought many children’s clothing items (Cat & Jack) that were advertised as on sale. I had my grandchildren with me so checkout was distracting as I was keeping track of them. It was only after I got home & started sorting items that I realized I did not receive the advertised percentage off ANY of the items. I called the store and was told I should have informed the cashier that the items were on sale so she could have done the adjustment! When I questioned why would a chain store like Target not have the adjustments in their computers automatically and as in other stores, I was told it’s bc not every item in a category may be on sale, so that’s why I’d have to tell the cashier! The only reason I’m not giving a one star review is bc the cashier was very nice and friendly to my grandchildren. I was also glad to be able to get a nice selection of clothing for them- just now I have to be inconvenienced with a return trip for price adjustments. If I shop at Target again I will carefully note every price for every item.

Target used to be a fast fun and friendly place when I used to work here, now it’s just kids with little to non customer service skills. Being busy never stopped me from answering a simple question to point someone in the proper direction, instead all they did was redirect me to someone else.
