V3 electric has the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. I purchase solor panels through V3, and have had the worst experience with install and support. First off, they are supposed to install in one day. After they finished a whole day on my roof, they could not finish, so they asked if they could come back the next day, so the next day they texted me and let me know that they would not be able to make it out until another day after . Then the next day they texted and said they would arrive around noon, but did not show up until 5:30 at night, and stayed until 9pm.at 9 I received a text telling me that they had finished and that they broke tiles on the roof and they would need to touch up paint the metal tubing on the house. When I woke up in the morning I went out to find out they had white paint everywhere that did not match my house with paint all over my concrete along with cut wires everywhere. On top of all that they broke my gate. So the next day I called their number and was asked to text a support #, but never heard back from anyone. I then called and finally after and hour was able to get a hold of someone. It has been over a month since the install and the paint still has not been fixed and I am still missing tiles on my roof. On top of everything my little dog almost ran away becouse the gate does not shut properly. If you are looking for solar, do not go with V3!!!!

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with V3 electric. Always professional, courteous, and very helpful. I had originally looked into a different company and was not satisfied with what they had to offer. I literally did not have to do much - they did everything. They always accommodated my availability, kept me informed throughout the process, and always answered my questions in a way that I understood. Highly recommend! Thanks Curtis and Jeremy!

My experience with this company has been great so far, they work to their best ability to be as transparent as possible, simply they keep business straight forward, now working with this company has been a great pleasure, the training is at par, V3electric keeps their environment fresh and active with positive leadership and adequate accountability. I highly recommend anyone to look into their services and they are currently hiring as well!

My parents and grandparents both got solar systems from V3 Electric and couldn't be happier with the experience. Everyone from the salesperson to the install crew we're great and genuinely wanted to help us!

Questions & Answers

I've heard purchasing the system is more cost effective. What are the pros of going with the energy program?

Purchasing really only makes sense if you're able to make use of the tax credit. The energy program gives you the benefits of owning a system without the responsibility of upkeep. V3 covers all costs for maintenance and they keep tabs on my system to make sure everything's working fine. I had a couple neighbors that bought their system and their biggest complaint is that they have to pay for parts and find a company to actually service the system. V3 takes care of all of that.

How long until you see the savings from V3?

That all depends on how much electricity you use after you get everything installed. As long as your usage stays the same as you did before solar, you'll see the savings after the first month. I previously paid SCE $300/month, but with v3's program I'm paying half of that. Had the system for two years now and couldn't be happier.

On the fence about generators vs batteries. Why should I get a backup?

Generators make sense for some people, but you've got to worry about getting diesel or gas for it. Batteries can be powered by your solar system, so that takes that cost out of the equation. V3's plan also includes the maintenance of the batteries, so you don't have to pay for repairs. Makes more sense to get a backup - more value to your home overall.
