David and Maya were wonderful store associates. They were kind and courteous. Both of them found the items we were there to purchase and had us on our way. Thank you Sephora for hiring great employees 😊

I went for the first time to this Sephora and my experience was great. I arrived needing assistance with finding my shade for foundation, concealer, powder foundation and a makeup artist helped me. Her name was Jessica and she was just so patient and made sure you liked the shade, and that you felt comfortable. She even helped out my mom find her foundation and gave us a few beauty tips.

Harassment and Descrimination. I had the opportunity to have a terrible encounter at this store which to my surprise was with the manager Leslie. I was approached several times by an associate if I need help and when she was asking if I need help she was asking if I want a basket. I politely declined her assistant and a basket. While shopping an aggressive associate approached me with, Here's a basket for you hun" at this point I responded that I dont want a basket and I dont want to be made to touch their baskets. She responded with, " its because people always drop and break stuff" Once to the counter i asked the associate if there was a manager on staff. To my surprise the manager that came up was the aggressive associate on the floor Leslie. I had a conversation with her at the counter in front of a very long line of customers. I advised Leslie that she approached me aggressive and I didnt appreciate being singled out. If she is going to want to force me to carry a basket she should force all the customers walking the store. It should be a Sephora standard policy to avoid Harassment and Descrimination law suits. Ibadvised Leslie that I can see the baskets on the floor so if I wanted one I would pick one up. She replied with saying that sometimes people think they are trash cans. I replied with I know the difference between a trash can and a basket. I used their trash can several times that day and she knew that. I also advised her that she knew the other associate had asked me if I wanted a basket and she knew that as well. Her response was "ok" with a smile. Leslie also handed me a kheils sample cream while we were speaking. To Leslie's judgment, my face is red and peeling due to having the Cosmelon face treatment and red peeling skin is part of the process. I would say to the Sephora executive team and owners of any of their chain of stores, when you hire a manger they should reflect the business values and integrity. Maybe some leadership courses in customer care and management will help your managers conduct themselves more professionally so they can properly lead employees. Attitude reflects leadership. I would also say instead of worrying about giving a basket. Maybe buy some type of shelf for the baskets so they are not sitting on the floor Maybe instead of standing around stalking customers for a basket, they can disinfect them. Maybe they can clean up the makeup and wipe down the shelves a few times a day.

It was so different from before, no more assistance in finding what I needed. The excuse for me having to wait was because they're low on staff, however, whatever staff they did have was clueless on their inventory and to suggest other options since they're out on the other...? I remember them immediately greeting you as you enter, then ask if help is needed and if so they would happily start to ask what are you looking for and ask questions to figure out what to suggest...Hopefully this was just a bad day and not a "new norm" as well!😌
