Wow! I’m so impressed by the staff. I didn’t get the staff members name but she had curly hair, part of her head was shaved, had super cute cat eye reading glasses, and worked the Starbucks booth and the front desk. Whoever you are you helped me a lot! My four year old is experiencing a death of a pet and I needed to find good books to help guide him through this new experience. I explained my situation and they knew exactly what books to recommend. Losing a pet is not easy. Explaining it to a four year old is a whole new level is not easy but this staff member helped me stress a little less today. Thank you!

The ladies working the floor are very helpful and kind. The woman who was working "customer service" not nice and not helpful. The guy at the register was not very patient. I wanted to use a 50% off all kid's books coupon and he said we couldn't use it, even though it expired 1/31/2022. I quickly asked my children to only choose two books each. The guy actually fussed with me telling me, "These books are only $5 & $6 you can just get them, they're not even $10". Our family is homeless. We can't get a library card because we don't have an address. Books $6 may not be expensive but if you are homeless and struggle for basic needs like food, to spend even a small amount impacts your ability to buy food. After we left the store, I completely broke down and cried.
