I have been volunteering with Operation Gratitude for many years. It is a great non-profit where they make care packages for deployed, veterans and first responders. They also make new recruit boxes. It is really gratifying knowing that you play a part in honoring those that serve our country!

A top notched non-profit . Class people and great cause . Clean facility in a beautiful part of the San Fernando Valley.

We love Brother Will. He makes it happen. A great resource for helping our Nations Active Duty and Homeless Veterans.

They do some great work here for the soldiers and their families.

Hi, I knit scarves for Op Gratitude also, and you can drop them off any time M-F from 9-4 pm. Someone will make sure the right person gets the scarves. Be sure to follow the guidelines that are on the website. Measurements between 4-6 inches wide and no more than 48-50 inches long. They have to fit into the care package boxes and still leave room for all the other goodies the troops get. Acrylic is much better than wool due to allergies and issues with washing the scarves. Muted colors, too. I include a note on each scarf that I tie to it that says something nice and encouraging and gives my name. Thanks for doing this!
Definitely
I'm sure they can. Great team.
Just show up...make sure you have ID...if you are a woman don't take a purse in there is nowhere to put it down...you will have to carry it everywhere.
I don't think so but the best thing you can do is go to our website which is operationgratitude.com and it will give you a list of the things we want and need.
Sign up at their website and you will be emailed the next time they have an assembly need.
Hi Sandy, Here is a link to our Handmade With Love page, where you can find more information about the hand-knit scarves, hats and other items that help make our Care Packages so special! https://www.operationgratitude.com/express-your-thanks-virtual/handmade-with-love/
