This place/ the staff and collaborators, are ALL AMAZING. They do so much more than just supportive housing for broken family's. They celebrate how a good life should feel EVERYDAY, for these people who TRULY need it the most. The effort and friendship that the employees express here is above and beyond.

It does the best it can, but is under-staffed, underfunded, for the large # of people who depend on the place...for meals, clothes, showers & "social services". There's never empty beds available, but all the other stuff they do for homeless matters just as much, or more!

This shelter provided a roof over my family's head when no one else would. The staff made me feel comfort when I came in terrified because I didn't know what to expect. I have learned the people that complain are the ones who didn't want to follow the rules and can't own up to it. I have since found a job and a home and I owe it to the shelter's rules. I had to look for work and save my money. I had to leave daily and that forced me to look for housing that I eventually found. I am truly grateful for the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless.

Yes after check in about 4:30 come in and tell staff you are here for shower only. Need picture id or something of value as collateral for use of a towel. Returned when towel returned. Will have to check in weapons and simple bag searches before
Ask for it at the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless Men's Side. You need to be homeless and it will be sent to 611 West Church St which is the address of the shelter. You just need to check back after 7 to 10 business days after using it to pick up your id if you don't stay there. If you have never had a Ca ID will need birth certificate also
Call 465-3612 Stockton Homeless Family Shelter for availability. If there are enough clients they open Overflow for families and single women
Well most animals with owner stay at camps up and down the streets and along the water ways there are a few spots open behind dmv upon trail just e cautious of others and u should be good
Nobody Grace the God I do not need help finding shelter but I appreciate the offer but things are better now once again by the grace of God my son and I bought us a house a year ago so keep up your good work assisting people there in need God bless you have you prayed to make sure the year coming in that you're covenant you can continue helping people

I think once you register i think they allow you to stay but you have to be active looking for a job.

Stockton shelter is first cone first serve. Picture ID is advisable not required. A SIMPLE SERIES OF INTAKE QUESTIONS AND YOU HAVE A PLACE TO STSY FOR THE EVENING. Your own hygiene items and bedding is advisable as they are in short supply
