Experience with my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek 7/1/22 I went to Les Schwab in Kuna for new tires and brakes. During the service I was informed by Chad M S that my wheels needed to be replaced as well. I told him I didn’t want to replace my wheels with aftermarket ones and that I would shop around for OEM wheels and come back another time. Luckily I found a used set of Subaru wheels on Facebook market place and purchased those. 7/2/22 I went back to Les Schwab to have the new/used wheels I bought installed. Caesar was helping me and he saw the used rims at a glance thought they looked fine, however the service was intercepted by Chad and Chad said that the new wheels I just bought were bad too. Chad then recommended to replace the lug nuts to see if that would fix the problem with the wheels. He charged me a mount/ dismount fee for the new lug nuts and then told me to come back every 50 miles to check if they were loose or not. I had a bad feeling about the entire situation and felt unsafe to drive my vehicle. I didn’t drive the rest of the weekend and cancelled all of my plans. 7/5/22 After some thought about what to do with my vehicle I decided to search for a second opinion. I made an appointment at my Subaru service center which is where I have my oil changed and tires rotated. Subaru inspected my current wheels along with the set I had purchased on Facebook market place and told me both sets were fine with normal wear and were completely safe!!! Subaru also said that the new lug nuts Les Schwab put on were the wrong size and replaced the new lug nuts with the correct size. Subaru also told me that when les Schwab replaced my brakes they had also replaced the calipers and charged me when my old calipers did not need replaced, and even if they did need to be replaced the Subaru calipers can be rebuilt. I returned to Les Schwab and talked to Ceasar about the situation and I told him I wanted to return the lug nuts. He was very kind and professional I really appreciated his help with the return. Even after returning the lug nuts I still felt disappointed and completely taken advantage of. I ended up spending $550 more dollars than was necessary to maintain my car, and I now have an extra set of wheels that I don’t need, not to mention the loss of my original Subaru calipers that were thrown in the trash. I also wasted my time and missed out on weekend activities because I was told I could only drive for 50 miles before having my lug nuts checked for fear of the wheels falling off. After this experience I honestly would return the tires I just bought from Les Schwab, but now I don’t even trust them to change a tire. Since I moved to from Boise to Kuna I thought it would be nice to save money and have my car services done close to home but now I feel stupid for trying to save money and ended up spending even more. The drive to Boise for the Subaru dealer service is more than worth it.

One truck in the bay when we got there and it took almost two hours to get two trailer tires fixed . If the employees would stop talking in groups in the bay might get something done . The lady in the front was the only pleasant part of the experience at this location and I live in Kuna
