False advertising , checked out at self checkout only to find that it was 8.99 for one bowl so I went and grabbed two more bowls to take advantage of their deal only for it not to give the discount! I notified the employee working in self checkout and she walked over to the stand and read the sign saying that the deal is only for 4.99 bowls and I let her know that the sign says mix and match and their is no other sign indicating that their was another price so all that is in the display should be honored for what the sign is advertising. But in typical fashion she just shrugged her shoulders saying that’s the price. Honestly this is not the first time I’ve witnessed unprofessional behavior in this store, I’ve seen an employee cursing out an security about not doing his job but that’s neither her or there. Management what’s your store policy on false advertising?

This location recently "upgraded" their shopping carts with anti theft technology - a tall pole welded to the frame, to prevent the very from wheeling out the store.. Poorly thought out decision. Customers with a large purchase to bring to their car have to hope to find a non-poled cart, or carry their precise. This is even worse for disabled/handicapped shoppers. However, the height of the pole is about an inch above the door height, so you can "wheelie" the cart to get out. Or just shove through the doorway - the pole is flexible enough to bend and allow you to exit. The door frames are all scratched up and the poles have completely destroyed the automatic door sensors. This was intended to be an anti-theft measure to prevent unhoused individuals from stealing the carts. What it wound up being is a poorly thought out and poorly implemented half-measure that destroys their own property while also being an ablist and unwieldy design that can be overcome with "push a little bit." Parking lot had atrociously small spaces. Don't shop here unless you're in a tiny car and are rail thin.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and everything seemed to run smoothly. The seem to clean and replace the food area pretty often as I saw them cleaning everything and replacing the soups while I was there.

People have fun working here. There is a generational generative community feeling in shopping here. I enjoyed finding and purchasing Safeway Signature Items often best quality and price! I wish there were a place to sit down and rest some. I love these prices that makes it A OK to slow down and attentively look shop and endurance relax.
