I enjoy coming to Food Lion, I really really love the positive encouraging music and the overall enjoyable shopping experience. Everyone member that I've encountered is nice, professional and accommodating. I also love the cleanliness of the store and the website, rewards program and just the ability to re-shop tool added to one's sign-in account is soooo great... An absolute 10 stars❤️❤️❤️

I NEVER give 5 stars… NEVER… but this Food Lion In Frederick, Md. has an employee that deserves it. I took my friend to get her food that she ordered. I never went in because they bring it to you. Im embarrassed to say I didn’t catch her name …but she made such a great impression. I was shocked because in this day and age people can’t impress me. When she was walking to the car I noticed she had a lil pep in her step, if you will. Not hurrying. Just a happy walk. She was smiling and visibly enjoying the day..? Her job…? Not sure what is was.. but I noticed and it made a difference. She was polite, thorough and .. I guess I was pleased to see a young adult doing her job, doing it well and that’s not what I find to be the new normal. I thank you so much for surprising me & that’s why I took the time to write this. Keep up the good work you’re doing. You make it look effortless. *** I was there Monday January 31, 2022 . Our order was ready at 1:00 and the last name was Warner. So who ever brought the grocery’s to my Jetta, Bravo. Keep smiling. I love that I gave a rave review and five stars and literally no comment from Food Lion. Lack of compassion and caring from a management standpoint 2 stars.

I have been a long time patron of Food Lion - over 25 years. I have seen a marked decline in item availability and customer service over the last year. For example, today there were several totally bare shelves and items were out of stock. When I reached the checkout, my cashier - Michael - was very discourteous to me and complained about what I wanted bagged. I was totally taken back by his attitude. Needless to say, I will be shopping elsewhere for the foreseeable future.
