Moved here over other places in the area because Bob , the property manager, was so awesome. was able to fit me in for a spur of the moment showing. was able to work around my busy schedule, and ultimately get me the exact apartment i needed/wanted. great communication and customer service here at the Park at walnut ridge. If Bob wasn't such a great guy, I wouldn't have been able to move in as soon as I liked. Love it here so far!

When we first found this place we had high hopes of how our experience would pan out at The Park at Walnut Ridge. We believed that this would be home for quite some time. Unfortunately, since week one of living here our sentiments on the matter went south, and fast. We've had issue after issue with this apartment complex since we moved in April 2022. Let's begin: 1) our water heater had issues on day 1 of taking a shower. It wasnt turned back on for our arrival after being off due to vacancy. Incompetence. 2) Our building has a silverfish infestation that has yet to be rectified. We have been seeing them almost every single day in not only our unit but also in the building we live in. We've had at least 3 treatments within our home done that have done absolutely nothing. We had to call them several times and send countless emails for them to take us seriously. Which brings me to my next point... 3) Getting a response back from leasing is almost impossible. We have sent numerous emails with no responses back from Rafael and Eric about our concerns. Communication with them is a HUGE area in which they fail greatly at, and for that reason I would absolutely not suggest this property. We received a notice on a Saturday stating that they were having a company come out to power wash our balconies and patios and to have everything "that we didn't want to have wet" moved. They however, did not mention until 4 days AFTER that they had already sprayed chemicals (never once mentioned) on the windows and siding as well. Mind you, they only sent this mass email out because there was so much confusion with how they would be going about this process; Another clear indication that maybe your communication sucks. Based on their first notice we assumed a team would enter our apartment and clean our balconies individually, but no, there was no clear explanation as to what was going to happen SOOO the chemicals they used days ago killed our plants and vegetables that hung from the balcony railing. This place costs entirely too much money for all the BS you have to endure. We've been here not even 2 months, and are livid with the experiences we've already had. Yes the view of the Catoctin Mountains are gorgeous, yes the units are spacious and the buildings they offer are fairly new, but if you have ANY issue whatsoever with your unit, good luck. They will get with you when *they* want to (and thats after you've bombarded them with emails and phone calls from sheer frustation). Spend your $2,000+ somewhere else.

We moved in here in March. We absolutely love it here. From the warm, friendly, and helpful office staff to the great maintenance team everyone is great. The complex is well maintained and managed. It's quiet and there are great amenities on site. Plus you are not far from anywhere! I had a list of 10 complexes to look at. The Park was 3rd on my list. I never made it any farther, and never regretted renting here!
