My daughter is still waiting since May to schedule her drive time. The school opened back up in June due to the pandemic and there are no drive times still. I contacted the main office and spoke to a rude woman who was supposed to change my …Ms. Flowers, we are a bit disappointed to see your comment. We were absolutely ready to work with you and your scheduling needs. We responded to your email back on September 8th. We did not receive another response from you for two weeks. Your student began the Driver's Education process at the end of April. Before the pandemic arrived in the United States, we had hundreds of students on our behind the wheel schedules that were on the cusp of completing Driver's Education. The quarantine that began in March lead to Greg's being closed for three months, directly impacting these students. What many fail to understand is that the cumulation of circumstances in this extraordinarily unique situation has led us to the high demand we experienced over the summer. There was no avoiding it. As we reopened, several of our instructors opted not to return to work per concerns for their health and safety. We completely understand and stand by their decisions. Moving forward, we have been working endlessly to find qualified people to join the team. Becoming a certified instructor for the state requires time, a clean driving record and plenty of training. While we understand the urgency in completing these drives, we cannot forget that the safety of our students, instructors and other drivers on the road must be taken into consideration. Not everyone is qualified to be a driving instructor. The pandemic has uprooted the normalcy of all our lives. Its ripple effect is broadly extensive, impacting many businesses and agencies. We are no different. As such, we’d appreciate some level of patience and understanding. We are doing what we can to help all of our students move forward.
