Lots of wonderful things on display from the Civil War. They also had literature that went along with the items! Definitely worth the $10

We attended a walking tour and were very disappointed at how the enslavement of human beings was minimized with but one reference as: "unfortunate." Being caught in the rain is unfortunate, folks, not the systemic & brutal enslavement of people. Also heard of how a local white woman was refused a meeting or a favor from a Union Gen and instead the tyrannical union Gen met with black women - so the white woman sends the Gen an insulting valentine (a picture of which was circulated). This story was told to demonstrate how the white woman achieved some kind of petty vengeance for her snub. Just wow.

Great weather outside and enjoyed the old Courthouse and museum.

Yes. There is an elevator and an entry ramp.
I would say not, but I'm not 100% sure. As a museum professional, the only way we let dogs into historic buildings is if they are certified guide/service/emotional support dogs. I would suggest giving them a call and asking just to make sure.
