I've been coming to this Octapharma facility for several months now and I have to say that I am very happy with the service here. The staff are all professional and do their jobs efficiently. There are times when the line is a bit long, but overall the staff does try to get people through the whole process as quickly as possible. I am very happy to continue donating plasma here, and have recommended others to donate there as well.

The employees are very professional, attentive and competent. I always feel that I am in good hands. The first time I almost passed out and they were right there to walk me through it. They also made the long intake process tolerable. The nurse was wonderful!

I love this place!!! Not only are the employees wonderful and friendly, but they also try their best to make the process as pleasant as possible. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have more of the screening stations open so that the line moves a bit faster. Other than that, this is a great place to donate and make some extra money!!!

Always a great experience here! The staff is extremely friendly and the donation process is always a breeze. Occasionally, the lines can be a little long, but everyone does their best to make everything go smoothly and quickly. Highly recommend!

That's not quite accurate. He was asking about normal rates, not the 6th, 7th and 8th donation bonuses. I'm pretty sure without any bonus the first donation each week is $35 and the second is $45
Yes, they are all great here.
Yes
Keep hitting zero to talk to a representative. But the passcode may be the pin you made when you activated the card.
No unfortunately you will need a piece of mail addressed to you at your address to confirm your identity.
Yes you can use your W-2 as proof of ss#
Why no response? Got details if you don't all month you get less than every other month. Prorated so you have to go all month not cool. Ill
$50 the first 5 times
They do and background on social security number and if they match u your good to go so really don't even need card unless your background doesn't come back
Just plasma donations
Yes definitely I actually came from KS and they just transferred all my inf. You should have no problem at all.
And be sure not to be on crack or doing any other drugs or alcohol. Also, it's highly recommended to drink plenty of water the night before you donate as it helps with blood flow otherwise you'll have trouble pumping blood.
Yes it does. If you use the Octapharma app. There's an option/menu for your unique referral code. Make sure your referral uses it when donating for the first time.
You're ID can't be expired unfortunately.
I call the Garden Grove, CA location multiple times in a day and rarely get an answer. This is terrible customer service. I have called the Covina, CA location and they always answer but can't always answer my specific questions.
Call the Octapharma where You plan on Donating, they will be able to answer that question for You !
Yes,with a price of mail with You name and address on it...
No, but I recommend using the quick check in on your smartphone. It is way faster than doing the kiosk
Generally no. Marijuana (and it's variations) are acceptable, I'm not sure about other drugs though.
if its your first donation present them your ID, your social, and proof of address then they will ask you if your taking any medications and you ask them what your taking.
It's honestly like playing slots, you never know how many people will be there. I've gone in with a 5 min wait and then went the next time and it was an hour. Good luck!
You can go to any location with the new system
ID & SS CARD PROOF OF ADDRESS
State id and proof of social security number. Questionnaire and mini physical tell them Paul armelin sent u well both get a bonus
50$ for the first 5 . Then 30$ and 40$ on your second donation.
I have micro dermals on my chest for yrs now n tatts for yrs will thy still let me or no?
Yes, you can, but remember smoking makes you blood rise.
There shouldn't be an issue with previous Marijuana use, however, do not go to a donation while under the influence of any substance. It is much more likely for you to have complications or to pass out if you are under the influence.
You don't have to enroll. The way their programs work is if you donate a certain amount of times a month you receive a bonus after a certain amount of donations it changes month to month but usually upon your 6th 7th and 8th donation of the month you receive bonuses on top of your regular amount. And sometimes they are run a gift card giveaway if you donate a maximum of x amount a month
To be honest it all depends. On Saturdays they open at 10 a.m. and on Sundays they open at 7 am. The earlier you get there the better. As Danielle stated above I would call in advance just to make sure. Because certain days they only have so many nurses on staff and only nurses can accept new donors and do the physical on them so if they only have one nurse the likelihood of them being able to take a new donor slim to none. However if you get there 30 minutes before they open and you're the first in line you will most likely get done within an hour and be able to start donating and that process can be anywhere from an hour or two hours.
No, you can only donate 2 times within a 7 day period.
No, they will transfer your file.
If you walk in, i suggest doing it first thing in the morning. You need a license, social security card, and a piece of mail with your current address dated within the last 30 days. Also, you will go through an exam, which the waiting time can be long, so expect to be 4 to 5 hours your first appointment, but after that it's just an hour visit.
$50 the initial 5 donations. Then it varies based on your size and weight.
Yes, you would start the process all over. But you probably wouldn't get the new donor pay.
The best time to go is right when they open.
Yes call and ask
They have a list of medication there that you cannot take. Might want to call ahead and ask the nurse.
Depends on what medication your on. You would have to go in or give them a call
You must live with in a 50 mile radius of the center. You need current ID, Social security card, mail with your current address dated with in the last 30days.
You can make 2 donations a week. 48 hours apart. So basically about 8 times a month.
Current license or I.D. and proof of address along with your social security #
Yes you should be fine
No. Need proof of address. Can print bank statement, credit card statement, or just mail yourself a letter.
I'm 55 so?I go twice a week
You get typically $50 for the first 5 donations each and then its based on your weight after. You can donate 2 times in a 7 day period. The phlebotomist are really nice and try to make the process go as smooth as possible.
You would have to request a transfer to that location and then permanently stay at that location. As far as the donation process you can only donate two times in 7 days so if you wanted to switch days you would have to skip a donation so you can get on track for the following week.
Possibly , call and ask.
yes . must wait one full day between donations.
