Beautiful artwork for the vehicles, does the job and has what you need however pretty expensive when you factor in mileage fees. Unfortunately we ran into a dead car battery when we didn't overuse the vehicle at all and no partial compensation was provided. 5 stars if not for the dead battery.

I am updating my review to five stars because, while it took contacting the company president to resolve, they did resolve my issue regarding the undocumented gas levels and associated charge and I appreciated the responsiveness, despite the mix up at the location. The van was quite comfortable for sleeping and hanging out. It stays suprisingly cool in the sun (not really sure how, but it's great). I do wish they would add curtains or provide a blocker for the windshield because even though curtains go around the entire back, the front windows and windshield let in a lot of heat. SO again, stayed pretty cool but small addition could make it that much better. The fridge is fantastic and if you are going to be parked long it works quite well as an ice box. The battery that charges it seemed to last forever. We didn't have to move the vehicle to charge the back battery for at least three days (didn't have a need to try any longer). But again, works great as a cooler if you worried about parking for 3+ days without moving the vehicle. You can also jump the main battery from the back battery in you were in a pinch, which is nice. Some of the vans are older and we had a brief moment of check engine light, but absolutely no mechanical issues or any problems with the vehicle itself. Again, the fold down bed is *quite comfortable* -- shockingly cozy for van bed and I have a a very expensive sleep number at home so I am picky! Fair warning though, make sure they mark BOTH places where the gas level is recorded. They charge $10 a gallon if you return the van with "less than it had when you checked it out." Highly recommend!

Awesome experience using the van! The staff is so friendly and helpful. There are curtains in the van and the bed is super easy to pull out. I loved the whole experience! We got the electric kit and the heater was a lifesaver! Will definitely be using Escape Vans again.

We’re usually one of the first campervan companies to fill up. Even during the low season, there’s a high demand for our vans. It is advisable to book your van prior to purchasing airline tickets and to book a few months ahead during the high season months (March 15 - Oct 15) and at least a couple of weeks in the low season. If you have a last-minute trip, contact us just in case. We may have an opening, and you might be in luck! Due to our flexible cancellation policy, it is advisable to book as early as possible to ensure availability and lock in the lowest rates.
The Indie Camper includes a bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower), an outdoor shower, and a sink with running water. However, more of an RV than a true camper van, our truck campers must be plugged in overnight for all systems to function properly. It’s important to take this into account when choosing campsites.
