Insurance scam? I was instructed to come in 3 times per week initially. First appointment consultation, lots of xrays and minor adjustment. Second appointment I sat in a room alone and watched an educational VHS from the 90's. The chiro came in and felt around my spine, lower back, tailbone, and upper thighs. Did an "adjustment". Appointment over. On the way out they tried to sell me a wedge pillow. My insurance was billed nearly $1k for each appointment. I never returned and they never called me again, but previously they called me regularly to schedule me. A few weeks later I received a promotional letter from them offering a price reduction if I referred a friend, and the friend's first appointment free. I can sum up my experience like this: at my second appointment Dr Cohen asked me how I felt and I said "I don't want you to get a God complex, but wow!". They also offer massage services and I have had them from two different people and they were both great. Not just a massage but something that you will really feel better with the reduction of pain.
