It’s unfortunately given a platform to anti vaxxers. Morning shows and Background Briefing are good, but the fundraising drives in afternoon and evening peddle loads of pseudoscience and quackery, and then try to sell you remedies to non existent problems. The fundraising drives with Christine Blosdale are especially egregious. She’s always pushing some “superfood” supplement. It’s a shame that such an institution has basically become a platform for snake-oil salesmen.

Battlefield between white racist in the local station board aligned with Trump against all races progressives, specially Latinos fighting back from being excluded from programming in a city where more than 1/2 of its population speaks Spanish. These white racists do not want Spanish programming and they sweared to remove it.

I love KPFK because its a people station which reflects a coalition of love and public dialogue. It was also nice to hear Barbara Barabino back on the radio last week during The Global Village. KPFK is always full of surprises !!
