Booked a 7 night stay here and ended up checking out after 1st night. As soon as I walked in, there’s a strong musty smell. The front desk person who greeted me, Maria, took my information then said, “I’m going to check your room to make sure it’s ready” 🚩As I’m walking towards room 217, there’s a clear musty smell throughout the entire hallway. The minute I walked into room, I’m greeted with a strong flowery scent that penetrated my nose. 🚩It was so unbearable I had to open the windows and step out. I left the room and came back later. That’s when I realized the reason for the strong perfume/scent….they were trying to mask a very STRONG pet urine smell! I requested to get a different room and they refused. Room looked dingy and dark.

Positive: Staff Negative: Cable Tv not working, Internet difficult to connect to, No coffee maker in the room, Kitchen has no utensils, it has to be ordered from housekeeping, Breakfast was a granola bar or muffin and that's it, Coffee station downstairs was a mess no stir sticks

For the price and convenience it's an okay hotel. But be forewarned, there are critters in the rooms on the first floor. Another guest did say to me that the higher you go up in floors the less you see them in your room.

This place is a joke and terrible. Never have I ever had to wait for 20 mins to checkin. The guy at front desk was incompetent and did not understand the system at all. He kept doing something on the computer without even bothering to tell me what was he upto. After waiting for 20 mins when I asked if there’s a problem, he said “Because you are checking in late, I’m having trouble working it out on the system”. I was shocked and didn’t know should I be amused or worried. I mean the whole point of a hotel is a customer should be flexible to checkin anytime after 3 PM. The front desk guy has no manners and didn’t even apologize for delaying check in. Finally I gave up and walked out. Checked into a Marriott close by. Never again ever at ESA.
