Started Feb 2016. It all started well until someone starts to sabotage you. Work is work. Competitive pay means minimum wage. Don't bother working hard to impress the bosses because in the end they never really cared about you in any way. As you work hard truly to one self, it's not about how much work you get done properly it's more of who you know within to get hired permanently such as knowing the Ceo, the mangers, or anybody in connection. It is not worth your time because you do not have a say to defend your right of why you're being let go. Oh and another thing. They let you go over the phone which is absolutely 100% UNPROFESSIONAL in terms of BUSINESS. It's either they tell you or they don't but seeing that how being let go unprofessional I would not recommend working at GLENAIR Inc. in terms of POOR MANAGEMENT and they are very subpar of their work. Only political decisions and vague answers are given to you. Good luck.

It started off great, people that know their job, friendly and with room to grow. Suddenly, after 4 months, I got laid off for "unsatisfactory performance", being that I have asked a couple of weeks before to my manager about my permanency and she said it was a done deal, I would get hired by the company. So I don't get it, the reason for the layoff when I was working hard to get hired. I guess it's a good company if you don't happen to get laid off for no reason.

I visited Glenair several times from the mid 90's till 2011. (the next visit is planned in May 2013). I am always impressed by the new building that were build and how the company grows and extends. In those years I done bussiness with Glenair for different companies and the 'welcome' by the Glenair emplyees is always warm and quite impressive.
