I was rear-ended by one of those Huge Mount Boom Lift Southern California Edison Trucks! I was driving my expensive 2016 Hybred Toyota Prius 4. Edison has admitted guilt and Will Not pay for the damages of upwards of $10k to 15k to my Hybred vehicle. Not to mention my injuries. I called Jacoby & Myers who referred me over to Wilshire Law because they claimed Wilshire has more resources and is more capable of handling my type of case. I provided Wilshire all the details of my case DOB, DL#, along with photos; They sat on all my information for almost 2 weeks. I never heard a word back from them! So I decided to call and follow up and the receptionist put me on hold for several minutes; then comes back to the phone and says, Oh! We decided your case will not be a good fit for our office. We can give you the phone number to the State Bar of California to help you! So if I had not called them; I would have never heard back from them. How in the world can you be rear-ended by Southern California Edison in a giant lift truck, the driver admits to the police his fault, he tears up my expensive hybred vehicle, causes me injuries and Southern California Edison now does not want to pay! How can all this not be a case for Wilshire Law? It's so sad when law firms claim to care and forget all about the little guy in the process! Yeah the website looks great; But the truth is: Very unprofessional, unresponsive and disappointingππ

In California, the deadline for filing a personal injury lawsuit, also known as the statute of limitations, is two years from the injury or date of discovery in most cases.
The amount of compensation you receive will be affected by not only the extent of your damages but also the strength of the evidence supporting your claim.
Each and every case presents its own unique set of circumstances that affects its length, so it's impossible to come up with a general timetable.
If your case has a good chance of going to trial, you will likely undergo a deposition and an oral question-and-answer session with the opposing attorney.
Yes. The state of California uses a "pure comparative negligence" system for determining damages in a personal injury suit.
