Beautiful and well kept. Nice walking trail and bridge inside. No water in the creek, unfortunately. Nice place for the kiddos to play and get exercise. The obstacle course is definitely for bigger kids. There is also a place for them to sit and snack, and restrooms (they were closed when we went - on a Friday afternoon). Make sure to take water!

This park in at the end of a cul de sac, very secluded and private. Fun little park for young and old. The park has a 3/4 mile loop track for walking and biking. It has a nice playground area for 2 to 10 year old kids. There picnic table all around the park. Exercise areas all over the park as well. The park sign states that it closes at 4 pm but it is not so. I believe the gate closes at sunset.

Calm nature park in a quiet residential cul-de-sac just over the freeway. Many examples of native plants - oak, pine, sage, yucca, yarrow, toyon, coyote bush. Gazebo can be reserved with a grill, picnic tables, exercise equipment, climbing rock, log benches, & various wood features. Good for spotting hummingbirds. Downside: no bike racks, so if you ride you will probably lock to a pole.

Absolutely beautiful!! Looks rustic, Forest-like. Cobblestone bathroom with definition of 'wash' and 'basin', etc. (very enlightening), and even a fire place (which is closed off and haven't found out how to access it or when it is lit), bbq grill, benches, trails around the park and looks like there could be a hiking trail leading out from here, as well as a(dry) river bed, and appears to have indigenous shrubs/trees. And a small obstacle course in the playground area. I could hear some wild, exotic birds in the trees. It's surrounded by an affluent residential area. Very clean, peaceful, but parking lot is tiny. Not much shade yet as the trees seem young. Overall A+. I WILL be returning!!

Yes, I tried to do this the "right way" by going through the department at the Esther Snyder Center. They require a deposit and it gets more complicated if you're wanting to have alcohol, which requires you to pay for an officer to be there to monitor. Anyway, you're pretty just paying for the reservation in case someone else shows up and wants to do something there. If you show up without a reservation and then someone else arrives WITH a reservation, they have the right to be there and you'll be moved somewhere else. If you show up and someone else without a reservation shows up, pretty much up to you if you want to share (if you're not a jerk). This of course means that if you show up early to try to beat someone else from getting the spot, but someone shows up and has a reservation, sucks for you. It's a risk.
Yes , Check their website & click facility reservations.
The park is still closed due to remodeling. I cant tell you when its going to reopen but i can tell you that they are going to make a nature walk behind the park where it is blocked right now.
Thank you i appreciate it
