Started at the Wind Gap entrance to the Appalachian Trail and the first mile is the roughly 700 foot climb up out of Wind Gap heading south on the trail. The trail has a few switchbacks which makes the climb easier than going straight up …

Great hike with some rewarding views. Plenty of opportunity to kill some spotted lantern flies. Really enjoyable section to hike. No water along 8 mile section due to zinc mining

This area is a campground I believe and we have moved into a travel trailer until the middle of October. It's so quiet and peaceful and the campground is called Evergreen Lake and it is well maintained and has a little of everything for the young to older.

The Appalachian trail runs through that area on top of the ridge. Many of the photos you are seeing are taken from that trail.
