This is a fantastic and knowledgeable hardwood and plywood lumber store. I moved to the area recently and needed kiln dried 4/4 S3S cherry lumber and this place had plenty in stock. Friendly staff and an employee also went out of his way to retrieve a unit of pine so I could select a few boards for a seperate project. If you need lumber and plywood go here and avoid Home Depot and Lowes, you'll be glad you did.

Needed a couple sheets of 1/2" marine plywood. The front desk advised they were in the back and set out immediately to get them for me. 15 minutes later, I was driving out of the parking lot with the plywood in tow. Easy peasy!

This is a good place if you're looking for hardwoods. Took off one star because this location (San Jose) no longer has a cutting service. Bring your own saw or plan for long pieces!

We will cut lumber to a specific length, to help you fit it in your car. We only have a skill saw so it's not a precise cut. We do not cut plywood.
I have seen Baltic Birch plywood there before. It would be best to call them to confirm its in stock.
Staff is wearing masks, masks required to enter. Pretty big place so no line to get in, etc.

I have seen wide hickory boards in the front. If you are looking for something thicker than 4/4 it would be in the back. Sorry I'm not an employee but they have had everything I've needed but usually stacked in the back.
Im a cabinet maker, and I've never seen balsa plywood. So i don't think so. Call and ask Dave. He's been there 20+years, if anyone would know, he would.
