We decided to leave after interaction with the server. 😒 He was so drab and unenthused. It was a complete "turn off". 😑 We did have fresh chips, tasty salsa and decent margaritas.😉 The server answered every menu question with "typically...". He didn't offer any recommendations and he seemed spacey. We will never know about the actual food.🤷🏽‍♀️ It was empty upon arrival. 🤔

This is one of our go-to places in town. The food is delicious, consistent and well priced! The owners are fantastic, welcoming and accommodating. The tiny bar upfront is the best little spot to meet friends!!!

I have to start off by saying that the word “authentic” in front of the restaurant was very misleading as the food served is no where near authentic. This restaurant seems to be an attempt of Tex-mex but even so poorly executed. But I do have to give credit where it’s due & something great about this place was the music choice which actually was authentic to the Mexican culture. Other than that the food was absolutely terrible. Worst tex-mex I’ve had in my life.

Excellent authentic Mexican with good margaritas and a wonderful staff. My wife and I took my 5 year old on the Western Maryland Railway from Cumberland, MD. to Frostburg, MD and this was the winner among a ton of great choices to eat. Make the trip to the railway and grab some wonderful food at El-Canelo!
