Sweet spot, parklet, frosty beverages, good selection. Also, given its location, there's a really good chance that you will run into everyone you know in the mission while drinking here, which might just cause you to never leave. And that's just fine by me.

Only decent place to shoot at in the 16th Street area as far as I can tell. Very tight felt on the first table but not bad rails either. Very most excellent music playing--:nice to hear punk and indie rock get real love. FINALLY!

This place usually has chill bar staff and cheap drinks. However, I brought a large group straight in after a BYOB show around the corner to hang out and celebrate and buy drinks. We brought in a single bag of leftover food and the remaining couple cans of warm leftover beer and set it aside and left it untouched with our jackets for the remainder of the evening. The bar tender was awesome, friendly, and courteous, we spent a couple hours there and bought quite a few beverages, but a dark-haired curly-headed bar back passing by stopped and curtly pointed at our bag asked what was in the bag. Because I wasn't hiding anything I told him "Leftover food and warm beer". We were instructed to leave "immediately", even after explaining it was from earlier, we had no intention of drinking it, and he could actually take it. He really rudely insisted "No, out right now". The shade we were thrown killed our night, and we left really bummed. I left the beer they kicked us out over because it was unimportant, and I wanted them to know that. The drinks are cheap, and the vibe is kinda cool, but killing our buzz ruined the night. Not really interested in going back.

If you want to play pool against some of the best shooters in the city, this is your bar. They have 3 tables and the games are only $.50, but you'll have to wait quite a while for a game if you're planning to play on a weekend! Come early on a weeknight and earn some respect from the regulars by playing a few games (and losing gracefully!) and you'll be welcomed back when you return. A dog friendly spot too...they also have darts and good beer selection.
