Food was very good, but this was a very disappointing dinner experience. We came for a nice Tuesday night dinner for Annapolis Restaurant Week, however we had to specifically ask for the menu, as it was not given to us upon seating. (Left me wondering, "why participate"?) Because we had previously seen the restaurant week menu online, we were able to decide on our courses right away, but our server was no where to be found. Thank God for the bread, because we were hungry. Food came out in a decent amount of time, and it tasted delicious. My husband and I enjoyed the petite filet. Again, we had to wait quite a while to have the chance to order dessert . Our server informed us that there was a banana's foster for two, not listed on the menu. We ordered that, and my son had ice cream included in his kid's dinner. Not sure why it took almost 30 minutes (yes, we clocked it) to scoop ice cream into a dish. The banana foster presentation was nice, and it was delicious. Well, we later learned that the banana foster "for two" meant that we'd be charged two times, rather than one charge for a large dessert. We were so defeated and tired of waiting for our server, we honestly just didn't bother fighting it. (Later, my husband realized we should've been given a couple dollars off of dessert, per the restaurant week offer that was not reflected in our bill.) We arrived at the restaurant just ahead of our 6:15 reservations, were seated promptly, but didn't leave until 8:30 due to the extended periods of waiting for our server. Ridiculous. Our server was pleasant and we could see that he was hustling, but he should've never been in this position to work a whole party AND have a section of the restaurant. Not sure if I'd return to this particular location.
