Very clean and well maintained. The queen bed rooms are small but comfortable. The continental breakfast has basic cereals, oatmeal, pastries, fruit, juice, and coffee. The wireless has good coverage and is fast. The hotel is a bit isolated from restaurants and the main Stanford campus so transportation can be an issue if you don't have a car. The hotel does offer a basic shuttle service for local travel and it is on a bus line.

Stanford Guesthouse is great but no cheap.
There was a small fridge in the double I was in. Don't know about the singles. However there is a fridge to keep food on the first floor where breakfast is served.
