I was staying nearby from out of state & can say this was positively the worst target I have ever been to in my life. I couldn’t believe the state of the aisles in this store. I never knew going to Target could be depressing and like I couldn’t get out fast enough. Literally every area and aisle looked like a tornado came thru…. Things just piled up all over. Someone really needs to come clean this store up.

A Target store that can remind you of a school classroom. A school classroom that will have 25 benches and 75 students but for all that one teacher in the center. A store that has a humongous parking and store space, large variety of items that are stocked, other amenities that include CVS, Starbucks and a Pizza Hut but only two cashiers at the checkout registers??? There’s not even a single self checkout lane. That’s some serious disproportionate ratio in a scale. We have never had issues getting the items we’ve come looking for and even getting things that were unplanned. They have a lovely collection of everything and the returns process also happens seamless. The only sour point as I mentioned already is the scant number of cashiers staffed as there’s always a waiting line anytime you shop and that sucks!

I agree with all recent posts. This Target used to have good management. For example if an item scanned $0 and it had been salvaged the managers would do a 90% discount because it means the product is discontinued and many times returned and the item is not even online available. The managers now want full price or they give a random price and not the typical 70% or 90% clearance. They now act like they own Target stocks and is coming out of their pocket. 🤣 They act like they would get nightmares if they do the 90% that used to be typical for items scanning $0 and not being able to find online. I miss the previous managers. They used to say if it’s $0 it means salvaged so not a price available even online then at least the store makes a couple bucks if someone finds it on the shelf and buys it. They used to be so happy to do it for some happy customer to find a good deal and for the store to be able to sell a beyond clearance item not even on the system. I usually bought salvaged items if I happened to find it on the shelf to donate so it’s very unfortunate about the new management at this Target.

Lack of self check out registers means there will always be a long wait. I've walked right back out in the middle of the day because the 2 registers open had lines going back to the clothes and jewelry counter. It's closer so convenient but night just go to Milltown or South Brunswick and it'll probably be faster even with the longer drive. Plenty of old food in the store, twice I've done store pick up for snacks and it's old. Here is today's shopping
