I had him do a cervical anterior fusion in September 2016 and was told that I would be 90% better or improved within 3 months. It's now been just about 39 months of endless ENT doctors and two otolaryngologists, some four esophgrams, two surgical dilations procedures and permanent disphagia that has relagated me to a modified soft diet. I loss over 20-30 pounds during this three year post surgery. This is not anyway to live or to lose weight! 6 months post surgery he tells me he wants to remove the cage that he screwed & glued to my upper cervical spine. So I go for a second opinion else where and was strongly advised not to have this cage removed or if I were to, then I could be left with the real possibility of further damage to the circopharyngeal plexus resulting in a permanent feeding tube in my upper chest wall. They do have an X-ray department but a Doctor Rx and appointment to do so. They do have a Urgent care Area which is very fast. I would call to get the times!
