Hands down best computer store in the city. Insanely cheap, high quality micro SD cards. Great service department that is both communicative and honest. Staff really know what they're doing. Great selection whether youre a casual user who needs some basics, buying gifts for kids, or a hardcore hobbyist building your own devices.

I've heard that Micro Center was amazing but I didn't really believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. The salesman was super knowledgeable without the hard sell. So much selection...!

They have everything. I found a mouse and keyboard that suited my needs, was reasonably priced, and I liked the color. The staff on the floor are super duper helpful and overall I had a great experience and I would go back if I needed a computer-related item.

Not impressed. I took my iMac here for slowness issues to see what they could find. While the work itself seemed fine, it's the customer service and prices that bothered me. It probably took 30 minutes to check me in and then another 30 minutes to pick it up. They also did not call me when they said they would, even after I emphasized the importance of getting it back ASAP since I use it for work at home and that I wanted them to call me with findings and updates. I also found their prices to be very steep. The diagnostics they ran did not find anything wrong with the hardware, etc., so they recommended a full wipe and fresh restore for any software or imaging issue, which is understandable. What is not understandable is that they charge $125 for that and then another $125 to back up your data to an external drive if you didn't already or don't know how. That's a total of $250 plus their $40 diagnostic fee plus tax for a hard reset and fresh restore of a computer. That's over $300, which I find extremely overpriced. I declined "repair" after I confirmed that I know how to do what they were going to do. They were honest about that part so I gave two stars instead of one, but if you're looking for fair pricing and good customer service, I'd look elsewhere.

Former employee here (2018). Microcenter only gives $3 coupons for HP, Lexmark and Dell inkjet cartridges. And a maximum three per day. AND only one $3 coupon may be used per transaction. Toner cartridges are not eligible.
No. You can only order from the store you are at or their online inventory shipped out of Ohio. If you need something specific, reach out to a sales associate and they may be able to help you get it quicker.
Depends on if you already have the replacement, they may have to order it but they can install once they have it.
I am not sure I don't work there but if u call them before wasting time to see if they do
Don't know cost. They have a help desk. Never have used it.
I paid with cash. Under $100. Paid with a $100 bill and received a $50 dollar bill and change in return. Very plesant experience all if the way around.
They will be able to help you
Look on their website, then have them delivered tomorrow, or if you want them now, reserve them for in store pickup and they will be ready in 18 minutes! Why 18 you say? Because if you show up any sooner, Chris Hansen greets you instead of your stuff. Def wait for the confirmation email before heading over.
Take to Half price bookstore, they will give you a few bucks and take care of donating to a good organization.
Go in and ask for the build-your-own section, they will help you get all the parts for your build, making sure they are compatible. The service department can assemble it for you for about $150, takes 2-3 days. Or they can advise you on assembling it your self. Great place to go and ask questions.
Nope they do not, but I do wish to see a technology museum one day. It would be so cool.
They have a large selection of Bluetooth headphones. They also are an Apple reseller if you are looking for their wireless earbuds.
They get their products re-stocked every Thursday. Id suggest calling ahead before heading to the store to make sure it is available.
That's a typical internet scam, just close the browser next time.
If you go to there website you can email them of chat with them. There is no way to call them
Microcenter is just ahead of the curve. Most people, especially tech people, hate phone calls. We text, we IM, even email if we must. If a business does not rely on baby boomers or older, it will probably ween out inefficient call centers as well. I'm not saying this thing is good, just that it is a thing.
Yes, with the company who supplies thaem.
I would check the site or head in They have various types of USB 2 and 3.0 and 3.1 cables
Thank you Sebastian 😊 that's encouraging
You can get cases, covers and decals for the outer housing but there is no customization like swapping out the case for a led one like a desktop. Laptops and Chrome books are limited with mods like that.
It's easier to go to their online webpage and do a chat if you have a question. They have a centralized number and not necessarily a direct line to the store.
Look for monitors not tvs as response rates are usally better
Hand sanitizer right when you walk in, masks, social distance markers, wiping the counters.
Take a a Samsonite stacked full of cash to the alley out back, I'd imagine.
They do
There is a repair center in store, you would need to call to see if they do Bose Radios
I also recommend calling the store.
No, they don't
Assuming you mean Epson, according to their website they can.
Search the website for "usb dvd drive". They should have something.
That stinks. Micro center would be interested in hearing about what options dead ended your choices. They would be interested in fixing it!
Take it to micro center in overland pk, ks. On metcalf st. They will fix it at the knowledge center gor you. Their fantastic! Free
I checked online for you, largest size is 11x17
I'm pretty sure they do but BestBuy definitely recycles old electronics
Yes they are the software is preloaded in all all or most of all new machines are you guys can be downloaded from the site
That I don't know per I have not inquired about that personally.
They have a designated Apple department with iPads, iMacs, MacBook Pros...etc.
I dont think I saw something like that at the store. A DIY prohect from Youtube might direct you to a place that might have what you need to make it waterproof.
I would call and ask that of their return dept.
Yes, it is SKU 831198. Extended 58.27 in wide x 70.87 in tall.
Yes, they can fix personal computers. They also have professional services.
8am until 10pm
Yes,no,3
There is a repair center at Microcenter but I don't believe they repair microphones.
Don't ask on here...Call them or look online...there are to many fact I rd for a good answer.
Just grab some defibrillators and shock near the battery to juice it
Best buy is the only place that does that for electronics
They do have a whole bunch of travel adapters. Not sure what Ammar is thinking
They are almost always accurate online, Thursday is when they restock sometimes so youll have to tell them if they ring you up for a different price because their systems dont always click in as fast. Also, be sure to set your store
They should be able to install it, unless you have an extensive amount of customization inside your rig.
Get a video card with 2 DVI and a VGA. Most R7 series cards have them, $ 60-$800. I recommend if you have Intel cpu to use invidia card, and Radeon with AMD because of crossfire and SLI compatibility, everything is just happier, higher frame rates, lower cpu/gpu temp. You can also get adapters for DVI-hdmi/vga, along with a usb video adapter.
At 64 megabytes assuming they are mp3's at a bitrate of 128kbs, you can hold about 12-14 3 minute songs. Each 3 minute song at 128 is about 4 MB. Hope this helps. At 64GB you can hold about 8,000 to 10,000 songs.
I believe that if you buy a computer there they have a geek bench to help you setup and learn. Your new computer! Not sure if it's free if charge it not. I do know Microsoft has classes at their store in oak Park Mall though! I believe this are free! Always best to inquire than assume though!
Check their website. Staff doesn't answer questions here regarding products.
Yes, they do. As Wesley said, you should check on their website for something that matches your laptop model. Remember, the voltage is only one part of it. The current (amperage) is almost more important. Even if you get a 19v adapter, if the current is higher than your laptop is rated, you could severely damage the battery and/or your laptop. You need to make sure that the new adapter is an exact power match to your old one.
No, they do not offer repair services. They are apple certified, which usually means they only sell.
It will really depend on the model. I would look up either the computer name + replacement battery, or the model # of the battery itself to get an idea on what it will cost to buy the battery. If they do the repair for you, there may be an extra charge as well. If all else fails, call the store up and ask one of the employees. They are really helpful and can give you all of those answers.
Yes they do have gift cards
If you are using windows 10 there is nothing wrong with the built in tools that cone with the system like windows defender, if you are not comfortable with that Webroot, Malwarebytes either if which are fine products in my experience
Microcenter is your best bet.
Not sure what the cost of anything like that, however they're reasonable price compared to other Electronic stores
