I was a tenant at Villa West in a two-bedroom apartment for two years. My roommate and I had no complaints about our time there until we moved out. Maintenance requests were addressed quickly, the apartment met our needs, and the surrounding neighborhood felt safe. We were given a physical copy of a cleaning list before we vacated, and were told Villa West could take care of carpet cleaning for a $125 reduction from our deposit, to which we agreed. When we vacated, we had deep cleaned the apartment(following the list's expectations), did not leave behind any furniture or trash, and did not have kids or pets during our stay that would have left stains or additional wear and tear. Yet we were only given $85 out of the $400 deposit we paid. When we asked management about the discrepancy, they were delayed in responding, could not provide us with an itemized list of what was supposedly cleaned in the apartment, and attributed the carpet cleaning overcharge to "just charging what the vendor charged". The cleaning list we were provided was not the same list as the one provided as part of our lease, and management could not explain why two different documents were provided. Management refused to reimburse us any more despite us pointing out the confusion and providing a copy of the form we were physically given. So while this complex is fine, go in knowing that you likely won't receive much of our deposit back.

I’ve probably been the most difficult customer with all the changes to my lease I’ve had to make. But everyone in the office has been so kind and helpful! We lived here 2 years ago and we’re so happy to be back. Great management in the office and maintenance.

I NEVER leave reviews. In fact, I think this is my first Google review ever. Please do yourself a favor and do not move here. The pictures you see of the property are very old so the apartments do not really look that nice inside, and the walls are paper thin. They will be helpful and kind until you sign the lease because all they care about is your money. This is the worst experience I have ever had with the management of an apartment complex. I greatly regret moving here and will be very happy once I leave.

We have had a decent experience during our 18 months here. The apartments are fine definitely 90s, but completely functional. Very safe neighborhood. Maintenance was usually prompt. Lawn care has improved with the new management. Communication can be sketchy.
