This review is for the Child Development Center daycare, I can't speak for the Lakeview Retirement Community. My two kids went to daycare here and the teachers were wonderful, the teachers in the newborn room were especially good but all of the teachers were solid. They attended before the pandemic hit. Both my kids received good care while they were here. They have a program where older residents from the community will come down and read to the kids, do activities, etc.

I’ve worked at Lakeview Village for over 10 years because they truly care about their employees and, more so, about the people they serve. Not every applicant or employee can measure up to Lakeview Village’s standards, but that is what sets Lakeview Village apart. I would most definitely recommend Lakeview Village as a place to come for rehab, to live out your senior life or to work.

Lakeview Village has been a wonderful move for my parents. From day one, their experience has been consistent with the rave reviews from the many residents who volunteered their praise during my parents’ initial visits. Once they decided on the apartment, my parents selected the finishes and appliances with the result of a beautiful apartment with walls of windows and views of trees. On moving day, staff fulfilled a few requests by my parents. It’s been two months now and the staff responsiveness continues to this day, including hanging their artwork. The staff is always good-natured, with many who have worked there for decades. The quality and variety of food in the dining room is very good, and the dining room staff is friendly. The entertainment has been delightful, from professionals performing classic opera pieces, to a very talented magician, to a singer/pianist who entertained with Broadway tunes, and more. My mom is take advantage of the swimming pool, and we hope they take advantage of the high quality workout area, which also has a wall of windows with a nice view. The location is convenient, easy to get anywhere from there.It is true that retirees should move before they think they need to. After a rough summer of downsizing, an estate sale, and moving, my parents have relaxed into the ease of living at Lakeview Village. Their sheets and towels are picked up every week for laundering, their home is cleaned every other week, and if they need anything done they call the work order number and the request is met quickly. Finally, never underestimate peace of mind. My parents, my siblings, and I know that my parents’ reasonable investment in this high quality Continuing Care Retirement Community will continue to provide excellent surroundings and care for my parents through every stage of their lives.
