The account is Lorna’s, but the review is Jim’s. I have volunteered at the night shelter almost since it opened. We offer a safe, clean, and warm place to spend the night. During the day, meals are offered, but it is prudent to check the schedule during the time of COVID-19.

Wonderful program. Providing help to people who are in desperate need especially during this time of covid-19. Providing shelter at night and meals during the day. Sister Vicky in the staff provide encouragement and love and acceptance.

Excellent night shelter and day shelter that helps the poor. Check their website for hours. The night shelter closes early in the morning. The day shelter is a separate area and opens many hours later. The day shelter is a great place for people who aren't sure what they need in terms of services. If you're having a personal life crisis, just ask.

When I was homeless, this place took me in. They fed me, packed lunches for me when I started work, and provided showers and soap, shampoo, and towels. They even helped me with my security deposit so I could get an apartment. It didn't take me long to recover from financial ruin with their help.

I never experienced any bias when i was there. I'm african American. I didn't witness any other nationalities or races being shown any bias. But i did witness a person who was thought to be a pedifile being attacked. Everyone is very protective of the kids there.

A lot of times for families with children the staff will let them in ahead of the adults. You can't get in until a few minutes until 9. When I was there, sometimes mothers and their children would stay.
It's a homeless shelter for men and women. There is no maximum allowed length of stay. However, nightly admittance is on a first come first serve basis. There is almost always vacancy.
