I was in McCrites for Rehab on my left hip in March and part of April. I have nothing negative to say about anything. The employees are great! The food is absolutely awesome! Physical therapy was just great, nice, and patient. Speech therapy was also a wonderful experience and helped me immensely. I almost didn't want to leave because it was so nice and relaxing, but sometimes you just have to move on! 😊

I don’t recommend working here, they play a favoritism role between the staff and its disgusting. The pay isn’t great and be prepared to work 3 floors by yourself bc they don’t have enough workers, but you’ll see why once you start working and see how messy people are

My siblings and I went through a process with our mother trying to convince her that it would be in everybody's best interest if she moved out of her house because of health and safety concerns. After a lot of searching our mother agreed to move to McCrite Plaza to an independent living apartment. She has been living there for five months now and the family couldn't be happier. Most of the family lives out of town so we don't worry as much about her falling down and not being able to get help from one of us. The apartments are in great shape and kept clean by staff members who seem to us to be very attentive to the needs of the residents. The in-house restaurant has a great menu and very reasonable prices. Every other resident that I have met in the hallway or in some other place has been very kind and accommodating. Our family is always able to call or email Cindee or her staff to help us in understanding what (and how) our mother is doing day-to-day. McCrite Plaza is a place that I highly recommend to a person wanting to downsize to a nice apartment or to a family helping a family member transition to a place where personal safety and a sense of community can be found.

Our parents have been residents at McCrite Plaza for a little over a year, and my husband and I are still in awe at what a wonderful place it is. All of the staff is truly amazing, as everyone is treated like a loved family member. The nursing staff is truly remarkable, as you can tell they do not look at this as a job, they look at every resident as a member of their own family. The meals in the dining room are unbelievable from the daily specials to ordering off the menu, and residents can go down anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., they will be greeted by their first names and suggestions as to what might sound appetizing. Thank everyone at McCrite Plaza for providing such a wonderful, loving retirement home for our parents, and giving our family such peace of mind.
