Since "the Gardens" took over - New York ownership - the unit my mom is on has gone downhill. I call for 4 hours at a time and can't reach my mom - she was on the TCU unit - again after contracting COVID - and staff can't even transfer calls there - there are no phone lines to that unit! Absolutely absurd that I call and can't reach my mother! I am overseas and should be able to reach my mother anytime.

I can only rate this place as a visitor, but every time we have visited my grandparents here, the staff have been phenomenal. It's a nice looking facility, and my grandparents seem to enjoy it.

I’m so disappointed in the lack of professionalism in the staff of mulvane square. Takes 20 plus minutes to get someone to answer the call light when my father needed to use the bathroom. Claim short staffed but yet they have time for personal calls and sitting at the desk chit chatting. My father is in the hospital after failing in the bathroom and I can’t help wonder did he get tired of waiting again for someone to answer his light. I’m sure staff will lie and say that never happened. Maybe it was because his call light wasn’t near him. I found that situation last weekend when visiting. I wouldn’t recommend this area of aldersgate for anyone looking for care. A grievance form was filed prior to the failing yet it supposedly never made it anywhere. Perhaps an investigation into this area need to happen before they are allowed anyone else there..If Nurses want respect for the hard job they have cried wolf in the media about lately. Then we shouldn’t have a nurse that wouldn’t even take my father to the restroom. Such a shame that you can’t have decent care in your elder years. I could go on about all the problems we have experienced over the last two weeks but this is the one that pushed me to the edge. Just beware before sending your loved one here that they probably won’t get the care they need or deserve.
