I have called multiple times over the weeks and have left voicemails. I was finally able to get a hold of the court, not only was the clerk not helpful, but she was incredible rude and disrespectful. How a government entity can act in such a way is baffling.

Well the easiest thing to do is to just go to the courthouse. They have a clerk at a window for requests of this nature. Typically copies are no charge & are provided at the time of request.
Yes you do. If you don't get it notorized ahead of time they have someone there that can do it for a small fee.
Call tomorrow and ask about office of recorder of deeds. Listen to recording carefully. Ofc open 8-5

I believe so. There is paperwork you can get from the Circuit Clerk's office you fill out and file (filing costs apply). Make sure to go to the Rooney Justice Center at 11 S. Water. Don't go to the courthouse where you pay personal property taxes. Also, no phones or other electronics are allowed in the building so leave them in your car, along with anything that can be considered a weapon. (Pocket knives, mace) just ask the deputies at the front desk for the civil filing window.
You might be able to check on Case net, they won't answer on Google.
