Plenty of parking. The office is on the 3rd floor, and there is air-conditioning. Appointments are not needed anymore, but masks are welcome. They don't allow everyone inside, but we wait inside the building, with AC and away from the sun. A person comes and talk to each person in line to make sure we need to wait, have the right documents, etc... Very professional. Pleasant atmosphere. Nothing like you see in other SSA locations.

I don’t usually write reviews. Also, I never have a good experience with Social Security Offices however I had the best phone call appointment today. Ms. Rodriguez was very patient and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions without any hesitation. I am very satisfied by the service I got today!

I rarely write review but I have to cause I need to change my name (Got my citizenship in Jan 2022) for my SSN in order to get all my documents right (Like for Taxes, my jobs, bank, etc). I saw all the reviews here knowing it's impossible to get someone on the phone, but I still have to try cause this is my SSN office and it says to schedule an appointment with your local SSN office ONLY. No other options. (Besides, other offices nearby are as bad as this one) I called 5 times in the past month. I called today the sixth time and someone finally answered! I heard the background sound but just for 2 seconds, they cut my call. Even got someone to answered my phone call, they just hang up. What else can we do??? I would try to go in person next, but also know door is probably closed and staffs are rude as multiple reviews claim. I will find a day where I feel I can handle the stress and go... I'll update this review and share my experience. Overall, for right now, I give up calling and I am still on hold for getting my name officially changed just because of this terrible office.

can i mail in my retiement social security paper or must I do so in person?
Yes, it's long either way. They use a very out dated check in system & minimal staff.
You can request for one it will be mailed to you
Personally, I go in person so I know they have received it and I get a receipt for it. I've sent by mail before and they claim "not received".
Yes. Just call the toll free # and change it over the phone. It's a very easy process.
Do I need a appointment to go to your office

No you have to get you own
The reason: they might be lazy, due to not having a real job. The Socialist System will only get worse if Americans do not wake up and force term limits on Congress and make a new system that is not going to collapse from spending money we do not have .
Check with the Social Security website. You may be able to request it online.
Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question but I'm pretty sure that if you google it you will find some good answers
Can apply. Comes in mail in @10 days. Or go online and create a my Social Security account at www.ssa.gov and replace online if you have A State drivers license.
Yes- if you have a state drivers license and create a my Social Security account at www.ssa.gov
No.
Yes, make sure you have all require document s.
Yes
No, but you will be there all day. It's much better if you schedule an appointment.
You will be paying 10% late penalty fee for every that you are no enroll in part B. The are exceptions: you must have health insurance based on you own active employment or your spouse''s employment. Coverage based on retirement does not apply in this case unless you apply for part B within 8 month's after your retirement. Your month of retirement count's as the first month of the eight months after retirement. it is best to file for part B on the month you retire. Please understand that if you choose to wait eight months after retirement , you are on your own if you have a medical emergency within the eight months and you have not enrolled in part B, you will receive the surprise of your life when you come to the SSA office to show a bill that is not cover by Medicare.
The process takes time depending on what type of benefits you're applying for. Give it another week or two, then contact them by phone to ask what the delay is.
