A new holiday tradition! Snickers Gap Christmas Tree Farm is a well run and beautiful farm an hour west of DC. We went on opening day (11/26/2021). As expected, the farm was incredibly busy. We did have to wait in line for 45 minutes to get into the farm, but once we got parked everything went pretty quickly. The staff were very helpful and clearly had their operations down to ensure a smooth and fun experience for folks. A few highlights: - Cutting down our own tree ($135 for trees < 7 feet). They gave us a rope, saw and map. - Local wine from Lost Creek Winery ($7 for a glass) - Hot dogs, pretzels, hot chocolate and other snacks (all affordable priced) We will definitely be back next year. Thanks for a fun start to the Christmas season!

Our family has been coming to Snickers Gap for many years with our girls and dog. They have great trees and the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. This is the best Christmas tree farm in Northern Virginia. We got our tree today …John - we're glad you finally found your keys, and that you can soon enjoy the scent and beauty of putting up your tree inside. We got to know Kimberly a bit when she was in and out of the barn looking for the keys, it is great to have such energetic, enthusiastic tree customers and we look forward to visiting with you next year at Snickers Gap.

Do you have Frasier Firs to cut?

Steven Wolff | Nov 12, 2018

Fraser Fir don't grow well in our climate - they prefer a higher elevation which provides a cooler nighttime temperature similar to their native habitat. For 38 years we have been growing beautiful Douglas Fir and Colorado Blue Spruce, expertly shaped exclusively with hand tools. They both have great fragrance, short needles, and last long once cut. Peruse our website, www.snickersgaptrees.com, and click on the Farm/Trees link to get more detail on each type of tree.
