I walked in and said I was not sure if I am at the right place, I told a lady that my husband and I were here to get a card showing he got the covid shot and the lady rudely relpies “why would we care about that”. im sorry if im in the wrong place but all you had to say was I needed to be at the health department down the road. Then a rude security guard asked me why I was there and I explained to him the situation and he told me I needed to be at the health department down the street then he continues thats what the lady was trying to tell you and basically said “you can shake your head all you want” I guess we don’t know how to be polite and professional!

If you were born in the state of Missouri you go to the health dept and for eastern Jackson county it's located on the Independence square. You can without any other forms of id. You will be required to answer personal questions with regards to your parents. Like what state or county were they born in or what year they were born.
