They have an easy process as long as you follow the rules. For us coming from Grandview, it's super inconvenient. It takes more time, and time is money. But I'm sure that someone with a great paycheck created this idea. Not thinking about us, the people

Crowded, wait time was ridiculous. If you're looking to fix your property tax (I was paying on a car I didn't own and never paid on the one I've had for 3years.) Always renewed Always paid property tax. then all of a sudden I was being denied them due to this error. Just contact the collection dept (they're amazing) via email and they will get you straight. They fixed my issue in less than 48hrs and I was able to go the DMV and get new stickers!

Beautiful courthouse and centrally located in the town. Several landmarks adorne the square the courthouse is located. I recommend taking a stroll and visiting each one. Comically, the courthouse reminds me of Back to the Future.

Historic building on the Independence square. Still has all of the old aesthetics flooring, doors, crown molding. Currently being used as the assessment department the personal property tax department. Metal detectors upon entering super helpful staff with easy to navigate directions.
